  What is Discernment?
  
  The word discernment comes from a Latin word meaning “to sift apart.” When we discern, we “sift apart” different possibilities in the hopes of finding the one that is most life-giving. When Christians discern, we keep our hearts open to the voice of God, since God alone knows the secrets of our hearts, and He alone can call us on to live in His kingdom. God only wants what is best for us. God’s will leads us to fulfillment and total joy. Where do you feel called by God?

We Need Priests
- What is a Priest?
  
  He is a man ordained by Christ to continue the Savior’s work of Redemption until the end of time. He is, therefore, a person specially chosen to proclaim the Gospel of salvation and lead the faithful to their final destiny.” - Ven. Fr. John Hardon, SJ.
  
  The seminary is for men who are already disciples of Christ seeking to be one of His apostles. You are learning to live as His priest and acting as He does.
